Make Your Own Radio Show!
The Make Your Own Radio Show curriculum makes use of the From the Top radio program as a model for students and provides them with a personal role model through an in-school assembly featuring a From the Top Cultural Leader and a Young Audiences master artist. Students are then involved directly in key Language Arts activities as they work together to create their own unique From the Top-esque radio show, which celebrates young musicians in their own schools. The project is aimed at celebrating young people in and through music on the national level, on a local level, and within individual school communities.
