From the Top will hold live auditions at the Preucil School of Music, located at 524 N. Johnson Street in Iowa City on Wednesday October 13, 2010 for a broadcast taping of its popular NPR program at the Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center in Cedar Falls, Iowa on Wednesday March 30, 2011 and other programs across the country.
Auditions will be held from 2pm to 7pm. Application and scholarship information is available online here. Applicants should complete the application form and bring it with them to the audition. There is no need to prepare a recording. To learn more and sign up for an audition slot call (617) 437-0707 x134. The deadline for sign ups is Friday, October 8. Audition slots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Recorded auditions are accepted on a rolling admissions basis and are encouraged for those unable to attend the live audition.
