From the Top is seeking young classical musicians to feature on our radio and television programs!

SPECIAL NOTICE: Near the end of our season, we are taping a show with the Military Child Education Coalition in Dallas, TX. If you or a member of your ensemble has a parent/guardian who is a veteran or who is active in the military, national guard or reserves, please be sure to let us know. There is a question about this on the first page of your application form.

Who is eligible?

  • Soloists
  • Composers
  • Small Ensembles (2 to 8 performers)
  • Large Ensembles (More than 8 performers)
  • Ages 8-18
  • Not yet enrolled full-time in college or conservatory
  • United States resident (or significant training connection to the U.S.)

How do I apply?

First, download the appropriate application below. Then, carefully review the included application instructions and frequently asked questions. Confirm that you are eligible to apply and can submit all required materials.

Scholarship?

If you’ve got financial need, you are encouraged to check out our Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award. There is a separate application that must also be submitted for consideration.
