Education: Young Composer Project

Calling all young composers! Apply for From the Top's Young Composer Project!

Young composers are often featured on From the Top's radio show, but each year, a small selection are chosen to participate in From the Top's Young Composer Project, an exciting exploration into the dynamic world of composers. In addition to appearing on the radio show and being prominently featured on From the Top's website, each honoree of the Young Composer Project is paired with a professional composer for a one-on-one mentoring session -- an invaluable opportunity to gain insight and resources to the composing world! Honorees are also trained as peer role models and advocates for music and composition, and are given opportunities to provide outreach in schools and in their communities. The project is open to composers aged 9-18.
