Alissa Mori performed on Show 290, recorded May 2014, at age 15.

Alissa Mori (violin), 15, is from the Bronx, New York, and attends the Ethical Culture Fieldston School. She is a recipient of the From the Top’s Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award, and also received the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation’s Young Scholars Award in 2010. She studies with Masao Kawasaki at the Juilliard Pre-College Division. Alissa has attended the Aspen Music Festival and the Kinhaven Summer Music School. She performs as a member of the Juilliard Pre-College Symphony and the Face the Music contemporary ensemble. Outside of music, Alissa is interested in Kendo and learning different languages.
