Cantus Chamber Choir is an ensemble of 16 and 17-year-old students based at the South Carolina Governors School for the Arts and Humanities. Led by David Rhyne, the ensemble includes a diverse membership of young people from urban cities and rural towns across the state of South Carolina. The ensemble has toured extensively, including performances at St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City as well as for the American Choral Directors Association Conference in February of 2012.
