Meet Jessie

JESSIE WANG is a sophomore at Boston University, pursuing both Flute Performance and Economics as a Trustee Scholar. She is currently studying with Linda Toote and previously studied with Jennifer Northcut. Over the past several years, Jessie has played with the Boston University Wind Ensemble, the Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, the Cincinnati Symphony Youth Orchestra, the Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) ensembles, and the William Mason Wind Symphony. In 2014, she won the William Mason Concerto Competition, and in 2015, the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music Young Artist Concerto Competition. In her free time, she enjoys reading, collecting cute stationary, and finding new foods to try out.
