Show 142 | Granville, Ohio

Recorded: Friday, April 7, 2006

This week, From the Top welcomes a special guest, Béla Fleck, the premiere banjo player in the world today. He joins teenage musicians to perform Bach as well as two of his own compositions, including a striking version of "Sunset Road" performed with a teenage bassist from Michigan. You'll also hear a teenage ensemble perform Britten and a very young violinist perform Brahms. And that same young violinist, fresh from an appearance on Martha Stewart's new television show, will give Béla some much-needed redecorating tips!
