This week, we present several young musicians from the Atlanta area. Among them is the Echappé Quartet, four fine young string players from the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra, and a pianist who comes from a musical family.

Cellist Min-Jeong Kang, 16, of Little Ferry, NJ, performs Variations on One String by Niccolò Paganini

Host Christopher O’Riley performs Marianna by Carlos Guastavino

The Echappé Quartet from Duluth, GA (cellist Yuran Kim, 16; violinists Evan Few, 17, and Patrick Ryan, 17; and violist Sarah Zipperer, 16) performs Quartet, 1st mvt. by Claude Debussy

Pianist Jacqueline Ludwig, 14, of Duluth, GA, performs Prelude and Fugue No. 18 by Dmitri Shostakovich
