Our 300th show has a special focus on the talented musicians in our Greater Boston hometown, featuring 11-year-old violinist Henry Ayanna from Somerville, Massachusetts; 14-year-old pianist and composer Anna Larsen from Needham, Massachusetts; 15-year-old double bassist Christopher Laven from Wayland, Massachusetts; and 16-year-old cellist Andrew Byun from Boston, Massachusetts.

Also featured will be Chicago’s Merit School of Music Honors Brass Trio, including members 18-year-old trumpet player Ricardo Zapata, 18-year-old horn player David Sweeney, and 17-year-old trombone player Adriel Garcia.

From the Top may be heard locally on WCRB 99.5FM on Sundays at 7:00 PM; this episode will air on February 22.
