This week from Artpark in Lewiston, New York, four outstanding teen musicians solo with the Buffalo Philharmonic in concerto movements by Wieniawski, Haydn, Poulenc and Mozart — all under the baton of the orchestra’s music director, JoAnn Falletta.

Performers and repertoire:

Bassoonist and Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Noah Brown, 16, from Iowa City, IA plays the first movement of Mozart’s Bassoon Concerto in B-flat major, K.191

Cellist Sarina Zhang, 11, from San Diego, CA performs the third movement of Haydn’s Cello Concerto No.1 in C major, Hob. VIIb/1

Pianists Stephanie Chen, 18 from Houston, TX and Christopher O’Riley play the second movement of Poulenc’s Concerto in D minor for Two Pianos and Orchestra

Violinist Alexander Boissonnault, 18, from Williamsville, NY plays the third movement of Wieniawski’s Violin Concerto No.2 in D minor, Op.22

Pianist Christopher O’Riley performs the second movement of Litoff’s Concerto Symphonique No.4 in D minor, Op.102
