About

From the Top is in bluegrass country this week, broadcasting from Comstock Concert Hall at the University of Louisville. Musicians aged 10 through 18 are featured, including a superb teenage violinist from Washington who plays Sarasate. The Louisville Youth Orchestra takes the stage to perform Faure’s “Sicilienne”, and members of that orchestra will demonstrate a rare acoustic anomaly – the astonishing Hickleberger-Schmankleheim Effect!
