Meet Conor

Conor appeared on Show 382, recording on February 6, 2020 at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston.

Conor Padmanabhan (guitar), 16, from Palo Alto, California is a high school junior, who studies guitar with Scott Cmiel at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Pre-College Division. Conor was a prizewinner in the National YoungArts Foundation Competition in both 2019 and 2020. He was also the first-place winner of the 2018 statewide guitar competition of the California Chapter of the American String Teacher’s Association. Conor was also the first non-pianist to perform for the Steinway Society of the Bay Area. In his spare time, Conor enjoys hanging out with friends and watching action and comedy movies.
