Elias Medina-Brewster (Oboe), 17, is a high school senior from Miami, Florida, and will receive the Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award in conjunction with his appearance. His favorite musical experience was participating in the National Youth Orchestra of the United States last summer, a program organized by Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute. In his spare time, Elias enjoys eating good food, exploring new cities, and watching foreign and independent films.
