Emmanuel Yoque, (tenor), 16, hails from Los Angeles, California and is a proud Mexican-Guatemalan-American musician. He is a recipient of From the Top’s Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award. Emmanuel is a senior at the Ramon C. Cortines School of Visual and Performing Arts, where he performs in choirs and musical theater. He also studies at the Colburn School under the Herbert Zipper Scholarship, studying privately with Michael Chipman and participating in choirs led by Misha Shtangrud. Emmanuel is also head of the University of Southern California Department of Public Safety Cadet program.
