Meet Jiyee

Jiyee performed on Show 332 in Austin, TX on February 26, 2017 and is a recipient of the Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award.

Jiyee Ahn (violin), 13, is from Austin, Texas and is currently a student at Lamar Middle School. She has won numerous musical competitions including 1st Prizes at the Enkor international Competition and the Starlight Symphony Young Artists Music Competition. Jiyee is also competitive outside of music, having won 1st place in an academic competition by reciting 250 numbers of Pi. When she isn’t on stage, she enjoys drawing, crafting, and being outdoors. Receiving the Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award will enable Jiyee to attend the Aspen Music Festival in Colorado.
