Katherine Leidlein (soprano), 18, is from Lake Jackson, Texas, and attends Brazoswood High School. She studies voice with Bill Few. Katherine has attended the Interlochen Arts Camp, the University of Texas Choir Camp, and the Sam Houston State University Choir Camp. She has performed as a soloist with the Brazosport Symphony Orchestra and as a member of the TMEA All-State Choirs and the Brazoswood High School Choir. She performed the role of “Johanna” in the Brazosport Center Stage’s production of Sweeney Todd and “Aninku” in the Houston Grand Opera’s High School Summer Production of Brundibar. Outside of Music, Katherine enjoys cooking, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, and biking.
