Meet Miriam

Miriam appeared on Show 260, recorded in October 2012, at age 18.

Miriam Liske-Doorandish (cello), 17, is from Eggleston, Virginia. She is a student of Batholomew LaFollette. The daughter of a cello teacher, she plays with her family ensemble, called Too Many Hats, as well as in the Blue Ridge Cello Ensemble. In addition to her musical pursuits, Miriam is an artist and is currently illustrating a children’s book.
