Meet Monte Vista Chamber Singers

The Monte Vista High School Chamber Singers are based out of Monte Vista High School, and were the first place winners of the 2015 KDFC Local Vocals Competition. Chamber Singers is Monte Vista’s elite group comprised of not more than 32 singers, usually juniors and seniors. These talented young men and women have gone through a rigorous audition process for admission and they commit to many hours of rehearsal both in and out of class. Chamber Singers participates in five major concerts each year including Bach to School, Winter Concert, Back to Broadway Dessert Show and Auction, Pops Concert, and the Award Concert. Students also frequently perform for recruiting purposes, at school assemblies and the Area Choral Festival, and tour each spring to perform for various audiences around the nation. The Chamber Singers consistently place in the top three at the prestigious Northern California Golden State Choral Festival. They are directed by Jodi Reed.
