Natanya Washer (soprano), 17, was cast at the age of four into her first city musical theater production and has loved music ever since. She currently sings in the Coronado High School Varsity Choir, Coronado Thundersingers, and the El Paso Young Lady’s Choir in her hometown of El Paso, TX. She was selected to sing in the 2009 Texas Women’s All State Choir and was the first youth soloist to sing with the El Paso Symphony at “Music Under the Stars”. With her Young Artist Award, Natanya hopes to be the first in her family to attend a college outside of El Paso and become a professional opera singer.
