This week, from the Libby Gardner Concert Hall on the campus of the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, our line-up of outstanding performers includes a 15-year-old pianist performing the music of Igor Stravinsky, a fantastic local youth orchestra performing from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, and our youngest trumpet player ever – an astonishingly talented 10 year old playing Carnival of Venice.

Violist and Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Jossalyn Jensen, 17, from Springville, UT, performs Rhapsody by Tibor Serly

Trumpeter Natalie Dungey, 10, from Issaquah, WA, performs Carnival of Venice by Jean-Baptiste Arban, arranged by Del Staigers

Pianist Weiyi Le, 15, from Layton, UT, performs II. Chez Petrouchka from Three Movements from Petrouchka by Igor Stravinsky

Percussionist and Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist John Ringor, 15, from Chicago, IL, performs Virginia Tate by Paul Smadbeck

The Gifted Music School Orchestra (ages 8-17) from Salt Lake City, UT, performs Violin Concerto in G minor, Op. 8, No. 2, RV 315, “Summer” from The Four Seasons by Antonio Vivaldi. Soloist is David Price.
