This week, From the Top is in Tyler, Texas, featuring outstanding musicians from 14 to 17. Among them, you’ll hear a 16-year-old flutist from Georgia performing the gorgeous Concertino in D Major by Cecile Chaminade and young guitarist from Maryland whose musical journey began when he was discovered strumming a spaghetti strainer. We’ll also present our musicians with a special challenge — a quiz were calling “Finish the Famous Phrase.”

Soprano Stephanie Domingues, 17, from Oakville, Ontario, performs Ho sparse tante lagrime by Francesco Morlacchi

Pianist Tyler McCuan, 15, from Troup, TX performs Sonata in E-flat, No. 52 by Franz Joseph Haydn
