Saying goodbye to our mobile app…for now

CORRECTED VERSION: We accidentally hit publish too soon on this post last week. In this version, we use the proper spelling of “app”, and fixed some links. Thanks for your patience.

Dear From the Top mobile app users,

We’re sad to share the news that as of February 29, 2016, we are shutting down our From the Top mobile app, which has been hosted through the InstantEncore platform for the past six years. As technology has changed, so have our website and social media platforms, and so, with limited time and resources, we have decided to put our energy into improving the From the Top website to better serve our mobile-based fans.

It’s never fun to say goodbye, but we are grateful for the awesome folks at InstantEncore and for all of you who have listened through the app over the years. And – we might design a new app in the future, so please stay tuned!

We hope that those of you who listen through the mobile app will consider keeping us on your mobile devices in other ways like these:

  • Open up your mobile browser and go to www.fromthetop.org, and save it to your bookmarks.
  • If you have an IPhone or IPad, open the site in Safari, and then click the “Share” option (usually a little shape with an arrow – the image below is from an IPhone), and then choose “Add to Home Screen” – this will put our homepage right on your device, so you can get to it in one tap. If you have another type of device, there is usually a “Save to Home Screen” option.
